Christina Erikson, RMT

What She DoesChristina has been a registered massage therapist and Natural Health Practitioner for 7 years.  She offers massage treatments drawing on a wide range of modalities, including deep tissue, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, sports massage, active release, and soft tissue work, among others.  She also offers specialized techniques such as Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitated (PNF) stretching, Neuro Muscular Technique (NMT), orthopedic assessments, and cupping, as well as prenatal massage and lymphatic drainage.

Her InfluencesChristina has significant experience working with athletes and those recovering from motor vehicle accidents, and brings an inquisitive mind and innate ability to feel and understand musculoskeletal imbalances to all of her treatments.  As an avid outdoor and nature enthusiast, she understands the importance of both connecting emotionally with the environment and nurturing the physical strength and fitness required for her to get the most out of spending time outside.  She has spent many years gardening and volunteering with community gardens, and has a deep appreciation for the joy of nurturing plant life, as well as ways hours of kneeling and bending over can impact our bodies!

TreatmentsChristina offers massages in 30, 60, or 90 minute slots.  In addition to being finely attuned to the musculoskeletal imbalances and stresses that bring many clients to her table, she is also certified in Reiki Levels 1 and 2, Mental Health First Aid, and Meditation techniques, allowing her to provide finely tuned and energetically sensitive holistic treatments.

PopulationsChristina is comfortable working with clients from all walks of life and all levels of fitness and wellness.  Whether you are looking for someone who can work in conjunction with other therapists and treatment modalities to heal a specific injury, or are simply looking to relax and unwind from the stressors of everyday life, Christina is able to tailor her treatments to your specific needs.
